“Much like a food court, the more there are, the more activity and more success you’ll see.” “The dynamic of North Tower Road is starting to take shape,” said Mitch Glaeser, CEO of Emory Group Companies, a developer for the new projects. The location currently has a few fast-food options off Newberry Road, along with Napolatanos, Mint Indian Cuisine, Sushi-2-Go, Applebee’s, Waffle House, Five Star Pizza and Pizza Hut nearby. The shopping plaza, just west of Interstate 75, also has close proximity to frequented roads, the Oaks Mall and North Florida Regional Medical Center. Tower Center, anchored by a Home Depot near the intersections of Tower and Newberry Roads, will soon include more options for customers in search of breakfast, lunch and dinner. After a new revival of restaurants near downtown Gainesville in the past several months, a group of new eateries are looking west for their upcoming locations.
